An incredible weekend of endurance was had at the Matar & Bullio NSW State Championships hosted by the Canobolas Endurance Riders. The Bailey family's continued dedication and high standards increasingly highlight the positive future of our sport
It was inspiring and heartwarming to see FEI and AERA work so well in unison, emphasising the shared passion for our horses and the sport of endurance riding. The vetting and strapping area ran seamlessly and everyone was so helpful, friendly and happy to share their knowledge. The tracks were technical, scenic, really well thought out and achievable. Chris Bailey spent alot of time grading some of the tracks for competitors and it didn't go unnoticed.
Events like these truly showcase our wonderful endurance community and the incredible dedication of all the participants, ride organisers and officials.
There were 103 entrants across all divisions including 23 Queensland riders, 1 Junior rider from Malaysia, a Dutch rider, 4 New Zealand riders, 1 British rider and 1 rider from Spain. How amazing is that that we were able to show these riders our amazing Aussie countryside.
